Cloudless Software LLC (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Stellar Password Manager (“the Software”) handles personal data and user information.

We design our software to operate entirely offline, and we do not collect, transmit, or store personal information on any external servers. This reflects our core value of local, user-controlled privacy.

Definitions

• Software: Refers to Stellar Password Manager.
• Device: Any Android-based hardware used to access the Software.
• Personal Data: Any data that can be used to identify a user.
• Usage Data: Information generated by the use of the Software, such as interaction patterns.

Data Collection

We do not collect or transmit personal data. Stellar Password Manager is designed to run entirely on your device, without requiring an account or connecting to servers operated by us.

All records, including passwords and custom fields, are stored locally and encrypted with your master password.

Any cloud or network interaction must be initiated and configured by you — such as exporting your vault to personal cloud storage or using peer-to-peer sync between your own devices. These options are strictly offline-first and under your control.

The Software does not:

• Create or manage online user accounts
• Automatically sync data to third-party services
• Send analytics or diagnostics to Cloudless Software
• Share information with third parties without your consent

Permissions

To function fully, the Software may request the following permissions:

• File access: To allow you to select and attach local files to entries. These attachments remain local unless you explicitly choose to back them up.
• Autofill service access: To provide inline and overlay-based autofill of credentials into other apps and browsers on your device.
• Display over other apps: To enable the floating overlay used for autofill assistance. This is only activated when you explicitly open the autofill tool.

All permissions are requested only when needed, and their use is fully transparent and under your control. The Software does not transmit any data related to these features.

Local Backups

Stellar allows for user-initiated local exports. If you choose to back up your vault, it remains your responsibility to protect and manage the backup file. We never automatically transmit your data.

Third-Party Services

The Software does not integrate with third-party cloud providers or advertising platforms. Any integrations you configure — such as using personal cloud storage or peer-to-peer sync — are initiated and controlled solely by you.

Children’s Privacy

Stellar Password Manager is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as needed to reflect changes in the Software or applicable laws. Updates will be posted in the app or at cloudlesssoftware.com/privacy.
